A Perfect Match

The couple’s journey began back in June 2017 in Denver, Colorado. Taylor had just returned from working in New Zealand and moved to Colorado for a new job, while Trevor had been living and working in the area for about a year. Shortly after Taylor had arrived in the city, they both swiped right, sparking up their first conversation on Tinder. As Taylor got to know Trevor over the next few months, she realized he was someone she could truly be herself withsomething she had never experienced before. We just had so much fun together, and our relationship was so organic. We loved all the same things and grew closer and closer every day,” the bride recalls. After introducing Trevor to her family, she felt certain in her heart that he was the one for her, describing the feeling as "when you know, you know."

A Romantic Proposal Through the Trails

For Trevor and Taylor, the opening week of ski season in Breckenridge was more than just a vacation; it was the beginning of a new chapter. Staying in a stunning mountain home, they filled their days exploring the town and hiking the beautiful trails. On a particularly beautiful afternoon, Trevor suggested a sunset hike, something they often enjoyed together. As they reached the scenic spot, with a panoramic view of the snow-capped peaks, Trevor set up the tripod, ready to capture the moment.

As they stood side by side, Trevor suggested they take a video, so they were both in the frame, followed by him casually suggesting a back-to-back photo. As Taylor turned around, she found Trevor on one knee, holding out a ring, and asking her to marry him. It was one of the most beautiful moments of our lives,” Taylor recalls. “Just us two on the trail with the sunset and mountains around us.” Their celebration continued at the Hearthstone Restaurant, where they toasted champagne and savored a romantic dinner.

A Vintage Wedding Style at The Manor House, Colorado

Trevor and Taylor wed at The Manor House in Colorado, a venue they fell in love with for its timeless appeal and panoramic views. The couple’s unique style was reflected in the vintage nuances of their wedding, creating an atmosphere that was both classic and authentic to their personalities, drawing inspiration from the well-known aesthetic of Nancy Meyers. After getting engaged, Trevor and Taylor moved to Florida, making their choice to marry in Colorado particularly special as they said ‘I do’ in the area where their love story began. Overlooking the Red Rocks, Downtown Denver, and the Rocky Mountains, The Manor House offered a grand setting with an old Colorado charm elevated through modern touches.

One of the highlights of their wedding was the private vow exchange. “It was such an incredible experience standing in the middle of a field in a beautiful location with my husband and exchanging something so personal,Taylor shares. Other stand-out moments included singing “Dancing Queen with her best friends, watching their parents light up the dance floor, and celebrating the presence of Taylor’s 93-year-old grandmother. Adding a personal touch to the ceremony, Taylor's cousin officiated, making the day even more meaningful.

Dressed in Aura

Taylor had visited several bridal boutiques with her friends, yet she hadn’t found "The One." When her mother flew into town, the two decided to explore our Denver bridal boutique together. Taylor’s bridal stylist, Eugenia, guided her in selecting five stunning dresses to try on, making her feel special from the very beginning. Among these beautiful options, it was Aura that stood out as the clear favorite.

As Taylor stood in the Aura gown, both she and her mother were moved to tears, realizing that this gown was meant to be her wedding dress. “I chose the Aura gown, and it was just the most beautiful dress I had ever seen,” the bride reminisces. With its silky satin fabric and romantic feel, Taylor could clearly picture herself marrying Trevor in Aura. “We celebrated with champagne, and it was a personal and incredible experience that I got to share with my mom.” To complement the effortless shine of Aura, Taylor accessorized with pearls to accentuate the beauty of the fabric. She chose our Pearly Long Veil, vintage pearl rings, and pearl earrings, creating a timeless bridal look.
