Isabel and Jake in Tia
Isabel wears Tia to marry Jake on her family farm in Campbellford, Ontario, where the sun broke through storm clouds just in time for their vows.
An Ease Between Them
Isabel and Jake grew up knowing of each other, but their paths never crossed. That changed when Jake reached out to her while she was away at university and he was playing hockey. From their very first meeting, Isabel knew.
"I knew he was the one, and I never doubted we'd spend the rest of our lives together."
The proposal came on an ordinary Friday. Jake surprised Isabel after work with dinner, giving nothing away. Back at her parents' house, he got down on one knee in the exact spot where they'd met for the first time.
"It was intimate, thoughtful, and one of the most beautiful moments of our lives."
Exactly As They'd Hoped
Getting married on her parents' farm had always been Isabel's dream. Set among the rolling hills of Campbellford, the property is home to a limestone house and a lifetime of memories. There was nowhere more meaningful to begin the next chapter with her best friend than the home she grew up in, surrounded by the people she loves most.
Rain fell all morning, with a storm forecast to hit right as the ceremony was set to begin. Then, around 2pm, the clouds broke. The sun came out, and everything fell into place. Isabel and Jake said their vows outdoors, exactly as they'd hoped.
Everything She Was Looking For
Isabel always pictured herself in a gown with an open back and a timeless feel. The moment she tried on Tia, she knew it was hers.
"It was so lightweight and comfortable, and it was everything I had been looking for in a wedding dress."
The team made Isabel and her family feel at ease from the very first appointment. After trying on several gowns, Isabel asked for one more moment in Tia. The stylists placed the Stevie Veil on her and invited her to walk into the main room to see her family.
"They made saying yes feel so special, and it's a moment I'll never forget."
If You Can’t Stop Thinking About It
Looking back, Isabel wouldn't change a thing.
"My advice to future Grace brides? Just buy the dress! If you can't stop thinking about it, it's probably the one. Trust your instincts, you won't regret it."
