A Ferry Ride and Reggae Music
Megan and Mike were set up by a mutual friend who thought they'd be perfect together. Their first date began on the NYC Ferry, technically just public transportation, but they rode it back and forth for hours, unwilling to get off. From there they landed at a wine bar with a reggae band and stayed four hours longer than planned.

A Cabin in the Catskills
Mike told Megan they were stopping for lunch at one of their favourite Catskills getaways, on the way to a friend's lake house for the weekend. Megan packed nothing but lake clothes and a housewarming gift, with a ring nowhere on her radar. She even talked Mike into ring shopping that same afternoon, just for fun.
Before she knew it, he was down on one knee in a private cabin, and a garment bag of bridal outfits was waiting in the car for an engagement shoot twenty minutes later.

A Hilltop in Tuscany
Megan and Mike married on a hilltop at Le Filigare, overlooking olive groves and vineyards for miles on a spring day in May. Rain and wind cleared just in time for the ceremony and the outdoor dinner that followed under the stars.
They chose Tuscany for the views, the food, the wine, and the promise of a once in a lifetime experience for them and their 68 guests. The ceremony itself came together with barely any planning at all. Megan and Mike wrote their vows the morning of and read them aloud together. Megan's sister officiated, her mom gave a reading, and their nieces and nephews stole the show as flower girls and ring bearers.
A band marched the couple up to cocktail hour playing "My Girl," a fitting choice on a cold, cloudy day in what was otherwise a warm month.
