In Full Bloom, Inside our ‘Muse’ New York Event
On the Tuesday following a bustling New York Bridal Fashion Week, Grace Loves Lace hosted a Press Showing for our latest capsule, ‘Muse’ at our SoHo boutique on Wooster Street. Attendees savored the beauty of a lovely spring morning, to enjoy tulips, gorgeous gowns, and much more.
The highly anticipated ‘Muse’ capsule collection took center stage for an affair of understated elegance. All four designs were on display for guests to admire firsthand and experience the luxurious fabric up close. A deconstructed sample of the Cupid gown with design notes from the Grace Loves Lace atelier allowed attendees to encounter the innovative power mesh technology of the built-in shapewear.
While indulging in delectable bite-sized pastries and tarts from Balthazar NY and sipping on sparkling mimosas thanks to Despana Fine Wines, editors and industry tastemakers alike commented on the modern simplicity of ‘Muse’ and remarked that it was interesting to see the first Grace collection that does not in fact, have lace.
Mariah Castro and Trea Venus St. Hillaire of New York Models were visions in white as they modeled each gown from the capsule collection. The fluidity and comfort of the designs were evident as the models mingled, captured on camera by Karen Obrist Photography throughout the event.
Guests remarked, “spring is in the air” as they were treated to white tulip bouquets from a customized flower cart by NYC florist, Forget Me Knots. Complete with Grace Loves Lace gift bags featuring special items from our Atelier, everyone departed with a lasting impression that ‘Muse’ not only encapsulates modern sophistication but transcends bridal fashion, with a groundbreaking bridal-first innovation.
