The Beginning of Forever
Real Bride Alana in Babette
A love letter to Mexico City
Mexico City was a natural choice, a city Alana and Dara had returned to again and again, drawn by its rich history, architecture, art and incomparable food and culture.
Each element of the day tenderly considered, from the white calla lilies lining the aisle to the full mariachi band welcoming guests into cocktail hour, Alana and Dara celebrating their love, surrounded by everything they love. The ceremony wove in traditional Persian elements such as the symbolic sugar rubbing and honey exchange; rituals chosen for their beauty and visual poetry. As the evening unfolded, a live saxophone blending seamlessly with a curated playlist by the couple themselves, before Middle Eastern drummers and dancers performed to Shakira’s “Ojos Así,” a moment that felt like a perfect reflection of who they are.
As the night evolved, so did the energy; Persian music filled the air, Mexican late-night bites made their way through the crowd, and Alana slipped into her second look, the stunning Babette Gown.
The perfect contrast
For her second look, Alana sought something that felt like a full transformation; fun yet sophisticated, the perfect contrast to the quiet elegance of her ceremony gown. She found exactly that in Babette.
"Seeing the dress on the hanger, I knew it would be the one."
Woven from two layers of delicate Chantilly lace with abstract beading and a diamante spaghetti strap, Babette moves like a dream. Its soft cowl neckline, scalloped hem and graceful train effortlessly capturing the spirit of a night that was made for celebrating.
