Under a perfect sunny sky, their families had secretly gathered to watch, keeping the surprise safe until the very last moment. Just when Madelynn thought the day couldn't get any better, she came home to a party full of her closest friends and family. Christian knew exactly what she would want, without her having to say a word.

They toured so many venues, but the moment they stepped onto Maderas Golf Club, it felt right. Their July wedding brought together traditional elements with a young, fun feel set against an idyllic Southern California golf course backdrop and a romantic, European-inspired venue. It was the best day of their lives, surrounded by so much love and by the people who've supported them since they were just kids together.

From Pinterest to Reality

Madelynn remembers discovering Grace Loves Lace on Pinterest years ago! The moment she saw how gorgeous their San Diego store was, she knew she needed an appointment and the decision was easy. She fell for the unique look of the Cartier dress, the beading and lace detail, and felt so confident in how the gown fit her. The Lumi Veil was the cherry on top!

One afternoon, she was surrounded by her nearest and dearest at the store, including her 11-year-old brother-in-law. He might have been the most excited person of the entire wedding process, having never been to one before! She tried on a few gowns, but the Cartier paired with the Lumi veil drew the best reaction from everyone.
