Jacob & Lorrana
In the Paloma Gown & Gabriela Veil
A GLL woman is to you…
Classy, unique, and timeless.
How did you decide on your GLL gown and accessories?
I had been following Grace Loves Lace for a while so the moment I got engaged I knew I had to try on their gowns. The Paloma Gown had just been released before my appointment, and when I saw it on their site I couldn’t stop thinking about it even though I was originally interested on a different gown. The minute I tried it on at the showrooms I just knew it was the one. It felt SO me and I was obsessed!
Describe your look in three words…
Romantic, effortless, boho-chic.
How did he propose?
Jake told me we were driving to LA for the day and that he had early reservations for breakfast so he was picking me up at 5AM! As we aredriving and playing music to wake up and dancing and singing in the car, he gets off the highway 10 min into our drive and says we should walk on the beach to catch the sunrise. Being only half awake, I didn’t realise what was going on, so as we kept walking we ran into the sweetest and most thoughtful set up of flowers, signs and a blanket surrounded by tea light candles, where there was a note that he read to me and then got down on one knee and popped the question. And I said YES!
What was your goal for your wedding / what was the most important aspect to you?
We loved designing our wedding and making it look beautiful, but what was most import to us at the end of the day was we were surrounded by the people we love most and that our day would reflect the kind of love we have for one another and the source of that love.
The funniest moment on the day was…
We had a pretty fun DJ so some of my favourite funny moments were seeing everyones moves on the floor as we danced the night away.
What was the most stressful part to planning?
We planned our wedding in a little over three months so finding all our vendors that fast was a little crazy but they all turned out amazing!
