Jamie & Brittnee in the Sol Gown
Brittnee and Jamie's elopement was boho and private. With the golden sunset of Little Wategos Beach beaming down on the couple - it was special to share this moment just the two of them.
What is a Grace Woman to you?
A Grace women to me, is a woman who is care free, a woman that is empowered in her self and ready to embrace the new and exciting times ahead.
Which GRACE dress did you choose and how did you know it was ‘The One’?
Sol- The magical Sol is the dress I chosen. I feel like I subconsciously new that she was the one from the start but at the start was a little out of budget. It came to my final dress fitting and I just wanted to make sure I didn’t walk away with any regrets. So I tried the dress on, and you guessed right. I fell in love with the dress- it was that moment I had ben waiting for. The neckline, the back, the details over my shoulders. Everything about the dress was perfect for me- it made me feel so empowered and beautiful.
Tell us about your experience when you found your dress, did you buy your wedding dress online or in one of our showrooms?
I purchased my dress at the Gold Coast show room. All I can say is WOW. Everything was amazing and so special.
From the décor of the shop to the way that the girls made you feel was so perfect. It was definitely a must have experience in my book when it came to one of the steps of the elopement to have that- and the girls there did everything and more to make it so special.
How did you feel in your dress on the day?
On the day- the second I had my dress on I felt stunning- it was the moment I realised ‘WOW its go time’
I felt like nothing and no one could stop me – I felt beautiful.
Where did you get married? Tell us about the location & the style of your wedding day.
Jamie and I eloped in Little Wategoes Beach Byron Bay. The two of us always wanted to elope and this was the perfect spot. It had the boho vibe that we wanted. We love the saying ‘Keep It Simple’ so that is exactly the whole vibe that our elopement had.
Tell us about your hair and makeup look and the accessories you chose...
Again with the whole keep it simple- that is exactly what I did.
So for my hair I had a nice cute low bun with a clear quarts detail (for the good vibes)
My makeup I wanted to keep very bronze, very sultry and to make sure my features were enhance ( my MUA on the day NAILED this)
My accessories were very simple- I actually used my mums earrings and a bracelet I had received from my Pa- I kept with a gold theme as it is something that I prefer on my self.
The funniest moment on the day was…
Ahahah- oh well im honestly a clutz and I cant walk straight normally if I tried.
Our photographer asked us to run down the hill for one of our photos- in the moment we did and of course I fell over in my dress !!!
Any last advice or words of wisdom that you can share…
Live- live in the moment. You get this once don’t think of the bad or the what ifs- think of the now and the good things. You are stunning, you are a bride and this is your day.
